Availability: Live -- The 'smith' interaction is live through metalworking recipes, repairs, weapons, armor, and prospecting.
Forging weapons and armor from raw materials. Higher smithing skill unlocks advanced recipes, improves output quality, and allows working with higher-tier materials.
Improved through: forging items, training with master smiths.
How It Improves: Use it in the world, practice it directly with practice smithing, and seek out trainers when independent practice begins to slow.
