Forge induction commissions a durable mechanical construct that follows you and enters combat while operational. Its subclass-specific chassis is named for its maker in combat and acts autonomously once per round, consuming one Standard Component even on a miss. Enemies can target it, and damage persists against its Integrity; at zero it shuts down without dying or leaving a corpse. Look at your construct to read its exact Integrity. Use construct status to read its fuel posture, construct hold to preserve Standard Components by skipping its autonomous actions, and construct engage to resume them. These posture orders are free and persist across reloads. Out of combat at a real engineering workbench, construct repair restores the construct to full Integrity at 2 Integrity per Standard Component; the full cost is required, and a shutdown construct returns to service. At Architect teaching, Total Recall Refit has a base cost of 50 Components to restore the commissioned construct to full Integrity and perform emergency field repairs on its maker. Open-ended command scripting is not yet live. In an active encounter, Deploy Sentry spends a base 12 Components to command the exact commissioned construct to strike. A commanded attempt spends its fuel and the maker's action even on a miss; it works while the construct is held and does not consume the construct's separate autonomous action. Field Calibration spends a base 10 Components to improve the exact commissioned construct's accuracy for three rounds. Reinforce Chassis spends a base 15 Components to give that exact construct 15% damage resistance for three rounds. Both buffs work while the construct is held. Craft a Component Crate from 2 iron ore and 1 rough leather at a workbench, then use it outside combat to load 50 Components.
